My assessment over 10 years. Review on ICICI Bank Visa Credit Card

I have been using ICICI credit card (Life Time Free Card) since 2003, along with it I have used Stan Chart, Citi, HDFC, ING, SBI credit card as well. But right now I have just one card and it's just ICICI credit card. The nearest contender to ICICIC was Citi card which I used for over 3 years and stopped using it after poor customer service.

ICICI has not charged me a penny. In fact since 10 years I haven't a single penny to ICICI as I pay my bills without delay over 10 years I have paid dozens of times after 'Bill due date'. on these occasions I just used to call the customer care number and say due to some urgency I couldn't pay in time, They used to immediately say don't worry no charges will be done.

I have been double charged on few occasions, I had one fraudulent transaction and everytime ICICI helped me to get over the worry. I have availed numerous interest free EMIs since last 10 years as well.

Online shopping too is smooth and no glitches with the card. I have had replaced card on three occasions w/o any charges.

I have amassed good payback points and was able to get quite a decent gifts for my wife on 4 occasions.

I have never had so much satisfaction with any card in last 15 years. I will continue to use this card as it is LIFE TIME FREE Card.

Over 10 years I have saved enough money in terms of NIl charges, free gifts thro' payback, interest free EMIs and late fee waiver.I recommend this card, but be punctual in payment and I'm sure you'll experience like me.

One negative side is absence of toll free number, I'm perplexed that thae largest private bank still has not given it;s customers the benefit of Toll Free access. 24x7 access to customer care is helpful, I normally call after midnight for instant connection to representative. ICICI should introduce toll free for ease customers.
