I have ICICI Titanium credit card. And the issue is regarding the behavior and false promise for a award after receiving points. First time when I took this card they said, No fees will be collected and entirely its free usage. Since I have a salary account with ICICI bank from 2 years and never came across this kind of situation.
For selling the credit card to me, both executive and telecaller lied to me. while signing the application also I confirmed that there will be no charges since I am an existing user of ICICI salaried account.
After the processing of my application, the confirmation email has received in 1 week. Card reached me after 1 week, then amount Rs-1089/- was deducted from account. Joining fee was deducted from my account.
Date of Joining fee deducted: 03-Nov-2013(Before receiving the credit card - Called the customer care on 04-Nov-2013 and they asked me to contact back after receiving the card.)
I called the customer care executive on that day, they said we will process your application and will update the status in 2 working days.
After 5 days I received call from ICICI for confirming the details, after the conversation they said you will get back your joining fee in 1 week.
15 days passed money still not credited back. I called the same person and he replied "its in the process mean time you can use the card" I said after getting my money then I will start using it. I asked him solve this problem as soon as possible. He said we are working our best to resolve this problem.
I received call after 2 weeks regarding the application, they said we can't revert back the money instead I will get some compensation gifts.
I said I dont want those gifts, when can I get my money back soon?
Finally she said I will check with my manager and will get back to you on tomorrow @ 2-4 pm.
As I got connected with new executive she said she cannot revert back the old application status, she will get in touch with higher officials. I got hectic by calling these executives, as my mobile has lost. I will post the mobile numbers once I get my postpaid bill.
The Trust which I have on ICICI is dropped down suddenly. Careful with credit cards of ICICI.
