If you want to waste your money just for the sake of getting a MBA degree then IBS Hyderabad is the right place for you.
Firstly it is definitely not worth the money they are charging.
The faculties are very pathetic as many of them cant communicate properly and the ones who can are teaching just for namesake.
Some of the faculties come drunk and use abusive language during lectures.
The placement scenario in IBS Hyderabad is below average this year as most of the 2017 batch students are yet to be placed.
The basic facilities are not up to the mark be it wifi speed, hot bathing water or cold drinking water.
There is only one TV for 700 students. There are table tennis tables in the common areas but all of them are broken.
Strict rules are followed when the students are at mistake(fine of Rs. 5000 for entering drunk in the campus) and they will make sure you pay for it but when it comes to complete their basic duty they don’t pay much heed to it.
The pattern of exams are as follows
Exams- Make up exams - Make up of make up exams - if you still manage to miss these exams then you still might get to give another make up exam be it internal or final semester exams.
There are many clubs in IBS Hyderabad but none of them add value to your resume. The clubs are managed by the seniors who have least knowledge about management. Since the seniors were made to work unnecessarily by their seniors so they do the same with the juniors. And the legacy continues.
The batch strength of IBS Hyderabad is 1200 students for the current batch and in the next batch it is expected to be around 1400 even though students are not getting placed. The student evaluation criteria is also not fair since faculties gives marks randomly and not based on merit.
If you are coming to IBS Hyderabad then make sure it is your last option and you have exhausted all your other option. You will be committing a suicide if you are coming here with work experience as is the case with me.
