I joined the ICFAIMBA (Distance Edu) course last July. I feel this is one of the best courses you can lay your hands on. The examinations are serious and without spending atleast a couple of hours daily on the workbooks and material, we will not be able to succeed in the exams. The first 3 groups are easier in the sense, that you would be required to write only 2 papers every 3 months. But from Groups D onwards, you would be required to write 4 papers every 3 months. The fees is a bit too much, but the content delivery, materials, examination facilities and email responses really make up for the expensive course fee. The course content talks about national and international topics and we are exposed to a wide set of skills. On completion, one can expect to have atleast 4 avenues to pursue as a career. I would strongly recommend this course for working (wo)men who do have time to spend each day on learning something. People who are looking at an easy master's degree would be wasting time and money if they join this course as it is a very tough nut to crack. This is for serious professionals who would like to have an MBA from a reputed University.
Aug-08: I actually cleared all the papers and waiting for my degree. Its a wonderful course to take up if you have the time and energy. I liked the case study approach a lot.
