This year approx two lakh fifty thousand
(2, 50, 000) people appear for different enterance exams......I I take the top 30 institutes in India( leave ICFAI Business School) there would be hardly 5000 to 6000 seats in these institutes..... that is only 2 to 3 percent of the total people who aspire to become MBA..
What would the rest 2, 45, 000 people do.. join a call center of wait for another year to gain compete with the ever increasing MBA aspirants........
We always talk about private government partnership..... as a solution to all problems... I think icfai is a solution rather a problem. it caters to the need of every individual
I atleast provides u a oppourtunity to study , a very good study material, gives u a chance to compete , provides u with all facilities, a rigourous examination procedure, merit based scholarship. It has the started a management teachers program...(one of its kind)
I accept it has a lot of flaws but everything improves with time . it is just a 10 to 12 year old institute and it is unfair to compare it with a institute with 20 to 40 years of history......
As usual we would appreciate if governement take proactive steps in promoting these private universities and keep a check on any malpractices.
