It is a love story but not with any difference. All those lovebirds out there would surely start hating love stories after watching this exceptionally meaningless and boring film. The story revolves round these two main characters viz; Simran aka Sonam Kapoor and Jai aka Imran Khan 'hates love stories' and somehow loves being referred to as J just like Hrithik in KITES. Simran, a cheerful art director is a die hard love buff and as it happens falls for his colleague Jai or J. While the latter merrily rejects her emotions and prefers to remain as just good friends.But as we all know from Maine Pyaar Kiya that ladka aur ladki *cannot be only friends.
Except the music the movie does not offer any treat for cinema buffs. The entire plot is a collage of cliched love stories. Sonam seems to be a complete misfit as Simran as she was too cold like an ice while his beloved J was more like a schoolboy trying hard to memorize his dialogues. There was hardly any acting here. A disappointment from KJo!!
lats but not least for all you Imran or Sonam admirers it is a one time must see!
