This is the all-new i20 and a car that not only Indian, but people from around the world have been waiting for sometime now. The global premier did take place in India and needless to say, we think the wait for worth it. The new i20 looks great and certainly is one of the better looking cars in the segment. Hyundai has always launched great looking cars in India and this new model is no different. Making use of the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 philosophy, this new i20 instantly looks stunning. The car now gets a new bold front design that is dominated by a huge single frame hexagonal grille and sharp swept back headlamps. The cleverly designed front fog lamps sit between black housing for the lower air dam and look neat.
Side on, you notice the rising shoulder line and sporty 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels as well as the blackened c-pillar. The rear three quarters is one of the best angles to look at this new model - the wide 3 step wrap around tail lamps look unique and very upmarket. The new i20 is slighty wider as well and all together, this thing looks stunning in flesh.
The interior of the Elite i20 are a class act too! The fit and finish, quality of materials, cabin layout everything is top-notch here. There's a generous amount of room for the occupants as well. The interiors sport a nice mix of black and beige, imparting a more upmarket look than the previous model. The centre-console design is inspired by a particular premium car brand but, no one should be complaining about it. The rear-bench is flat, and offers generous amount of leg- and knee-room. There are also rear air conditioning vents for occupants at the back seat. Overall, the interiors compliment the stylish and contermporary exterior of the car perfectly.
