Bought this car in July 2012 from KUN HYUNDAI, Hyderabad.
After selling the car dealer did not bother calling at all to see how the performance is or if there is anything they might help with. Basically KUN Hyundai service is not that great.
I have been taking my car to Lakshmi Hyundai ever since and their service is outstanding for example after my 1st service got a call within 2 days asking for review, then got a call again after a month asking how it has been performing as it has been a month since service. etc.
I have been taking the car to them on a regular basis for little issues and every time their response is good and helpful.
Coming to the Car itself mine is an petrol version and it drives like butter with minimal noise and so smooth that it feels like driving a battery car. But I have been having problems since the 2nd or 3rd month.
Driver side window was making an weird noise when lowering and raising it. Called Lakshmi Hyundai and they fixed it, it started again after a month and got it fixed again. Unfortunately I just started again 2 days ago.
Rear left passenger seat window would not lower and raise properly it wobbles so had to get the beading replaced.
Rear Viper arm would only clean 80% of the area covered, Technician unable to fix it so had to get it replaced too.
Coming to the most annoying part of the story
- When breaking slowly at times noise comes out from rear left hand side wheel like tak tak tak tak tak. Have been having this since like 2-3 months now(this is very annoying as the car is very quiet) and have taken the car to workshop like 4 times every time they clean the breaks and say there was dust in it and give it back. It stays quiet for a week and starts all over again.
Have read several posts over this issue in internet but Hyundai is having an deaf ear to this issue I guess
Very pissed off with the cheap quality of parts being used in a premium hatchback.
It has been 7 months and 6000 kms since I have brought this car and so many issues have cropped up. These are neither too big to make fuss about it nor too small to ignore. Have to wait and see what more this car has in stock for me.
