This was my first car and my budget was 4-6 lakhs. the only diesel that were available at this rate were the ritz and figo(2010 oct). figo is cheaply built car and ritz was designed based on a frog. so I decided to go for i10 though my mind inclined towards i20 crdi. I got the i10 kappa2 asta(on road 6.05 lakh). now as I have read many of the user reviews here, I now know that I am not alone in reporting that the mileage given by this car is phenomenally poor for a small car. I get 10kmpl in city with ac and 13kmpl on the highway.
now my question is this: if we take hyundai to consumer court for misleading the public on the fuel economy how many of the users here will join the fight? and will it produce any results? if anyone who reads this has a background of the law. please advise suitably. thank u.
