Beware of POPULAR Hyundai dealers at Cochin, never deal with these shi*s.
i own a Hyundai i10, and is pretty much satisfied with my vehicle,
though I was warned by my well wishers, that Hyundai dealers are real R*SCAL's
as there was an incident where a Hyundai dealer sold a accident met car to a client, and forgot to delete the billing sticker from insurance.
the owner found out the same and it hit the head lines two years back.
Ignoring this incident I took Hyundai only because of kappa engine.
My car met with a minor accident on a rainy day, when a maruti omni bumped on rear side of my i10,
the popular hyundai dealer replaced the entire rear door and billed 18000 for the same.
the billing was like, 6000 for the rear door and 8500 for painting it, a total bull sh*t. with rest going for miscellaneous.
I brought back the original bumped, rear door and there was not a single scratch, only a small bump with
a 10 cm circumfrence. during the maintenance of the rear door I checked the car and the supposedly new rear door had two welding marks parelly in the middle, with they claimed to be location for rear wiper
later when checked, the replaced door was an old one,
imagine how many customers would have been cheated by the body parts work shop of popular Hyundai cochin,
so request to all of you are to clean your mess yourself, means if you are doing any body works in any of the hyundai showroom, please ask for the old part and throw it away from their reach.
otherwise some other customer is going to pay the price,
who knows, the replaced part on your car is also a used one.
I am still thinking whether to go for dispute in consumer court or to discuss the issue with hyundai officials, as not sure which one would be more productive.
SO, DO NOT DEAL WITH POPULAR HYUNDAI Cochin.
