I think this is the right time to tell you about my car i10 Magna IRDE. 24th June 2008 I took my i10 Magna.
Why I selected i10?
I was looking for a small car which can take us (Me and my family) to my native once in 3months (650+ KM one way) from Bangalore. Look and feel should be good.
Good Mileage.
Interior quality.
Back seat comfort.(Good Suspension)
Good Service.
Better control (I was very specific regarding the power steering performance.)
How I reached i10?
As usual first I approached my friends for their recommendation (It’s better to ask few not all because you will get confused). Also searched few reviews and visited all showrooms then bracketed below list.
Swift Diesel

Fiat Palio

As I listed above i10 was below in my priority list.
Swift - Since My average use is below 1000 KM per month Maruti Marketing person suggested don't go for Swift Diesel (I like that guy). So I dropped Swift. I was really looking for the Fiat Engine.
WagonR I really love this car but interiors and back seat comfort force me to drop.
Spark I was really impressed by this car since my best fried using this one. Unfortunately boot space and
bad service took me away from this. Santro Back seat comfort not good.
Fiat Palio really good but shape, service and Mileage scared me.
At last We took i10 test drive from Advaith Motors Bangalore. I really appreciate their approach. They do stick on their words and delivery on time. I was really amazed by the power steering and the Back seat comfort. Still I was not sure about the i10 because it was really new to our market that time and not much reviews. Any way At last with my test drive experience I booked i10 Magna Blushing Red. I took the delivery on 24th June 2008 Tuesday.
We were really excited about the car we have. This is the first car which I paid from my pocket. We started roaming Bangalore, Mysore ...etc Till date we gone to native more than 7 times plus many pleasure trips. Almost 18K I am done. I am really happy with the performance what I am getting. I am getting 18 - 20KMPL Mileage for long (With AC) and City 16KMPL (With AC). Gear Shift is really smooth, Power steering good performance, Tilt Steering really good for a long drive, Powerful AC, Interior quality I feel royal, Service really good (I am friendly to them when ever I find some mistake I use to tell them and correct).
People use to say good car depends on our good luck. But I suggest you should look for a car with your requirements meet your Budget. Drive it safely and care for it. You love your car it will take care of you. Don't use mobile phones while driving. Be patient in traffic this will help you to save lot. Since I can count many i10's in the road I hope people having same experience. I love to recommend this car. But go according to your requirements.
