Many things in this car are really good. suspension, power stearing, interiors, space, feeling of luxury, power, pickup, ac, (may be , mileage).
bad thing is boot is very small, priced on higher side,
but the major issue I have found in my car :
1) in 1st gear it expects 2nd gear very soon just after initial pickup.
sometimes to avoid this try to take directly from 2nd gear if already running mode.
2) I am facing some karrrrr sound whenever shifting to 2nd gear.
in 1st , 3rd , 5th , rev no sound at all.
comparatively lesser in 4th, but huge sound in 2nd gear. even I faced difficulty shifting to 2nd gear many times.
but power in all gears is good enough especially 2nd and 3rd gears are good for city ride.
this car gives you enough confidence to drive at good speeds and making an hault.
control is good with good stearing and brakes.
till now I drove 200 km in just a weeks time and found this car good enough for small family and ladies can comfortably drive this car.
no idea about mileage for time being but close to 10-12 in Bangalore tough traffic, in huge rush.
Updates after 600km run:
Again Gear shift is simply very bad in 1st and 2nd gear.
I feel I should get it replaced.
will see after first service.
Now mileage I am getting is around 10.5 to 10.9 in Bangalore city with AC on mostly.
but there is a huge loss of power with ac on, in 3rd gear onward.
on highway, I shifted directly from 5th to 3rd when slowed, while crossing.
even I prefer to switch off ac to get speed and then switch it on back.
build quality as santro is simply poor, bumber with number plate broken, by scooter crossing.
