Bought i10 era in Feb '09. Now I own this for almost 3 years and covered just around 20, 000 kms.
Has taken long trips to coimbatore, karaikal and smaller trips to thiruvanamalai and tirupathi, kalahasthi more than 6 times.
Since traffic is heavy and big metro project is going on, I still prefer to move on my two wheeler to my office which is just 12 kms away from my home.
So far the car has fully satisfied my pride of having a car and also at times going occasionally to the temples near by. It was bought from DSC Hyundai, saidapet and I never send for any service to this service station. The sales people are rude and never took us serious. No point in going back to them. Had good services done at other service station at saligramam who are polite and very confident.
Last seven months I have not done any service work to my car. I decided that I will just leave it to the way I am handling my motorcycle tvs max 100r - most reliable and work horse. I hope i10 will also serve me just like my TVS max 100r. Till my sons complete their education and I settle down .
Negatives are -
1) Headlight is not good. Once I travelled entire ecr from muttukadu to ashok nagar without the head lamp. (fortunately travelling in the city you can afford to take risk)
2) Recently, at times the car don't start just after reaching home travelling 12 kms. It just stops in front of the gate. Once I get down to open the gate and come back to restart the car stops. So I decided to keep the engine on and put hand brake. Open gate and park the vehicle. In the morning it starts easily no issue.
I learnt driving the vehicle with this car and I find it very tough to talk about the negative aspects. Did n't got through any issues and quite content with the way it drives me.
