I have a 2 months old Hyundai i10 Magna 1.2. Completed about 3900 KM and I can tell you that I have made a very good decision buying the i10. It is got a very good EPS (Power steering) and the drive is very smooth. The i10 has got very stylish and rich interiors . The gears are placed in a very convenient place and it is different from all other small cars. But I suggest the readers to buy the 1.2 Sport which is about 30,000 INR more than 1.2 Magna. Sport is got a rear wiper and a rear defogger which is useful when you go on a long drive and when it rains. Sport comes with a in-built music system which is pretty ok.
Last month I took my car from Bangalore to Hyderabad. It is about 570 Km one way and took me about 10 hrs 30 min which includes two stops for food. At the speed of 100 Kmph, the vehicle is very stable on the road and you can easily touch 125 Kmph.
Coming to the mileage, my car gives me about 14.2 Kmpl in city and 18.6 on highway. The Hyundai i10 has a fuel reserve indicator, which is not there even in Maruti Dzire.
There are a few cons with the Hyundai i10. Taking a reverse is a little difficult compared to other small cars. Also you can not see the front bonnet making it slightly tough to keep the distance from the car front of you.
Overall it is a very nice car from Hyundai.
