I purchased Hyundai i10 Magna with 1.2L Kappa engine in October 2008. I liked the product. It is different from conventional Indian small cars in many little ways which make it a comfortable ride.
I'll start three two main features of the car which impressed me.
1.Lot of space inside: Yes! You won't feel cramped like you do in conventional budget cars. For me this was a primary parameter. I had evaluated Maruti cars(including Swift), Santro, Chevorlet Spark to name a few and got that cramped-up-in-a-hole feeling. Take my word for it - this baby packs up enough space inside to let both front seat and rear seat passangers sit comfortably.
2. Interrors: Super smooth, curvacious interriors. Seriously! Better take a look and compare the quality of interrors with its competitors. You can make out the difference by just looking at it. There are no sharp edges, all curves are smooth. A light colored interrior which is easy on eyes.
3. Gear Position:The gear bar is placed above the level of cup-holders so that it does not interfere with gear manupulation when you take bottles / cans off / on the cup-holders
Lets get down to specs now. Kappa is a 1.2 L engine which delivers 80bhp@5200rpm. Simply put, i10 allows you to pump in power and pickup speed in little time.
Yet another pretty interesting thing about this car is that the engine is so silent that once you have pulled up the window-glasses, you will barely be able to hear the engine humming!
So to conclude:
