I bought this car one month back . This car is rock solid, runs nicely and I am very happy with it. But I want to pour out my heart on the sales and service standards of hyundai.


Sales - I bought this car from Samara hyundai, new delhi and I must say that the sales experience was pathetic. its the worst sales experience of my life. The price conveyed to me before booking was something. 1 hr before delivery the price was increased by 5000. When I argued and threatened to go to court they asked me to pay 500 extra and settle the issue. Now what was that? Either their demand of 5000 was wrong or their agreement on 500 . Anyways, no body at the dealership was their to attend at the time of delivery. I faced unfriendly people at the dealership.


I had bought a Wagon R three years back and the delivery experience was far better than this. So, I would say that delivery experience at Samara hyundai was pathetic. So, I decided not to get my car serviced with them. I chose Safdarjang hyundai for my first service.


Service - The first service experience was again pathetic. Nobody wanted to attend me properly. they took 5 hrs in first service. and I had to literally fight with the staff to take back my car. no body was ready to clean the car . then after two hrs wait when it got cleaned, it was just lying there for chk up for another 1.5 hr. pathetic experience of service. when I finally took the car out the seats were dirty and I had to take the car to a nearby shop to get it drycleaned.no service advisor was there to attend me.


I want to summarize that the sales and service experience of hyundai car was pathetic and I was thinking that I made a wrong choice by buying hyundai car. I could have chosen Honda city or SX4 rather than this.


But needless to say that when I drive this car - I feel like being on top of the world. the drive is better than a skoda octavia.


Is anyone from hyundai hearing this? just improve your sales and service standards.
