This car is one of the best in the segment. I own the XO. I have already driven it >12000 Km in just 7 months and the car is is raring for more.
I was to compare amongst Wagon R and Santro Xing, and the only reason I didn't go for Wagon R is that it cannot accomodate 3 in Rear Seat, until of-course if u want to be too close to each other. Even if you try, middle partition/hump (in between the 2 seats) will not allow 3 to sit.
Santro's AC is superb, though only when AC with fully loaded (luggage and 5 passenger) I found the pickup somewhat tough, but then I think most in this segment will be similar.
The grip on the road and the power steering adds to my confidence when on national highways at 110-120 KMPH. Its really a zippy drive in the city.
I got a very satisfactory fuel consumption average of 16.5KM a litre with AC in City like Delhi. The space is such that we have moved fully loaded with all 5 seated, very comfortably.
The after sales service is Good. Though I faced problems in my last visit to get th 1st of the the promised 2 Free Paint Protection Coating. It was not Free..!! I visited Hyundai Motor Plaza, Mohan Co-op. industrial Area New Delhi.
I was asked to shell out money for getting Car washed (a mandatory requirement for the coating). I wonder why it was said to be free when they don't provide the mandatory car wash Free of cost.
We all know the cost already paid, actually would be calculated such that the cost of 2 future coatings (FREE as they say) would be covered in that. After all they won't pay from their pocket.
Anyways overall performance of the Car is at its BEST ...!!
