I recently bought my first new car. It's a white Hyundai Getz, 1.6 cc. I used to drive a 96' Hyundai Elantra (bought from my older brother) so it may be biased if I say that a Hyundai is always a good buy. My experience with the Getz was love at first sight, as soon as I steped inside it and grab the wheel it felt like wearing a glove.
Very comfortable, very smooth driving, soft steering, strength and speed combined. I live in Ecuador and the price was very afordable, compared to others in the same category which are in the market today. The Peugeot 206, Ford Fiesta and Chevrolet Corsa were my candidates, finally I decided for the Getz because I knew Hyundai's performance and felt very confident with my decision.
I have to say it surprised me that it has more room than apparently bigger cars like the Hyundai Accent. It's very confortable in the front and back seats, and it can become a small moving truck, moving the back seats forward, allows enough room to fit a lot of stuff.
