Last year Diwali, My Husband gifted this car to me. Though he was never in favor of Hyundai cars but for my interest he bought this car for me. He was insisting me to buy Maruti Alto 800, but I was mad behind the look of this car. Well, for 1st 3 months everything was Ok, because I was in an expectation that all the shortcomings of the Car will go away after 3 months. But, the story started after the 3 months. As everyone complains about its Performance in MouthShut_Official.com, I also faced such irritating problems.
The situation became more pathetic when I find the Hyundai staffs extremely bad mannered. In February 2013, I had a small accident with a Bike and that made a large scratch on my car. When I went to the Showroom, they simply avoided me. I will rather say they behaved so roughly that you will never go to them even if your car get totally crashed in an accident. Thank god, my husband had a friend in a Hyundai authorized garage in our locale. He made the claim possible and repaired my car free of cost. So, My first lesson is NEVER Buy the Hyundai insurance from the Showroom.. They are just horrible...
After few days, I realized what a big mistake I did in my life. The car has a lots of Problem starting from Bad Head light, Cramp space inside, Improper rear tray, Engine noise @ high speed or even with AC on, Gear shift issue is extremely bad, the poor quality or poorly fited front glass and all. My front glass get ruptured automatchandru021y without any accident. After inquiring the same, I came to know that its due to poorly fitted Glass. Well, in the garage of my husband's friend I repaired it through the claim. Though it did not cost me more, but I must say about the bad quality of work @ hyundai.
Finally, about mileage till today after 12, 000 kms the mileage is less than 12 kmpl with AC On and 14 kmpl without AC.
The Engine is very loud when you try to overtake any vehicle with AC On in Highway..
My final verdict is to Avoid Hyundai Car. Because one of my colleague has a i10 and she is also facing similar issue...
Anyway, I am waiting for 2 more years to complete my EMI. and then I will sell this devil and purchase a maruti Cervo.. (if that will be launched by the time)
