Hyundai Eon is the entry level hatchback car among it's offerings. Although it was launched 6 years ago it couldn't make it's presence felt as was expected out of it.
A relative of mine owns this hatchback so I got a chance to drive it. My height is 6 feet and in my experience it was too compact for me. There is no height adjustable facility of the seats too. People seating at the back also don't have ample knee room to sit comfortably.
The fuel consumption is average at close to 18 kmpl on city roads. Even the boot space at the back for luggage is cramped up.
Hyundai has compromised with the safety because there are no airbags offered on the top model also. There is power window only at the front. Furthermore, when you drive it above 80 kmph the engine sound can be heard inside the car.
Thus, Eon is just an ordinary car and people may find a better car in the 3 Lakh to 4 Lakh Rupees range.
