Well, My family has a legacy of owning Hyundai cars and so my mom bought in a new member, the Eon.
Hyundai has been a key player in the small car segment, and with this car, it has redefined the way a small-family car should be.
It has a very(As the name suggests) sporty design, with the exterior curve and the headlight shape nicely flowing to the back.
It is Hyundai's most cheapest car and yet feels so premium. It has got a great ride height hence it is great for tall people too. The leg space in the front is plenty so the driver and the passenger in the front seat do not feel cringed up.
It is same for the rear seats also.
Plenty of space for 5 people to sit comfortably and enjoy the ride.
The boot space is abundant. You can keep almost 3 large suitcases or even 5 of them small suitcases.
The driver seat as well as the driving wheel are adjustable hence any person can drive it easily.
When I got to take it for a ride, my happiness knew no bounds. I just had the instinct to just drive and never stop, such an experience the car provides.
The transmisson is so fluidic, and the handling so perfect that you can drive with the least effort.
Also the acceleration and braking are perfect and smooth.
As for me, the car shows a mileage of about 20 kmpl which is good enough for most of us Indians as with the rising petrol prices, the car surely is a winner Although it is not optimized for off road and rural areas. Also the engine does not demand much maintenance as long you don't drive roughly.
The seats are very, very comfortable, the interior is very stylish. My favorite part is the dashboard. The system provides many options like AUX, usb, bluetooth for music playback. The gearbox, glove box, music system, air conditioning system are all very elegantly designed.
Overall, I would say that the EON is an all-in-one package, just perfect for someone who wants to buy his first car.
