Hyundai launched Eon Era to catch hold the young customer base, mainly from the middle class section.
The car has a trendy looks and is very peppy. Eon comes with only petrol and petrol+ lpg version. I have purchased the later one.
Being having both the fuel option, one can fill 30 lts of petrol in one tank and another 30 lts of lpg in the other tank. This car have a mileage of around 14 kmpl without AC. The interiors are good and the dashboard is like that of sedan car.
But the main problem with this car is that it is very light in weight and the body material is not tough enough to withstand any major impact. It becomes difficult to handle the car once the speed is beyond 100 kmph. The AC is appropriate but only front cooling vent is available. There is another big issue with Eon Era+ model. Since the gas cylinder is placed under the boot, the spare tyre is placed on the boot making it having a very little place for keeping any luggage in that space. However I believe for a city car, Hyundai Eon is a good choice.
