I got delivery of Asta 1.4 CRDi on 20th Feb.It was really easy for me to buy from Talwar Hyundai Hyderabad. the entire purchase process went very smooth and I got vehicle delivered within 20 days. I was switching from i10 era petrol which had bare minimum features and never encountered any troubles with i10. Moreover, it was well driven by my wife.
My first impression -
Car is loaded with features might take weeks to be used of.
Driving was very ease, didn't felt any difference while driving diesel motor
Left mirror checking was not easy for me, had to turn head completely. mirror vision is not good.
- Steering is much easier & lighter than i10
City drive is very nice and need to work on gears, demands 1st gear when vehicle gets slow in traffic which was not case with i10 petrol. 2nd gear issue was highlighted by other reviewers as well and its true but not big deal. can be used easily.
Seat height adjuster doesn't help much. I prefer a small pillow to get a better driving sight.
I took 2 long drives 200 and 1000 KMS and it was real DHAMAKA while driving on highways.
ACC works really well . I used to felt bit unease with AC air but haven't felt any such with ACC.
it eats all roads bugs and drives real smoother.
I could go with 120 KM/H within 2500 RPM very easily without any issue
I can guess the mileage I was getting for whole drive was around 18-19 KM/Ltr with all time AC
After 2 days, I got used of it it was city driving become fun for me.
the bigger gain was my wife started started like a master driver on the car without any trouble.
it's value for money for the features loaded. the same can be found on high end cars on much higher price.
Overall an excellent buy and fun to drive on city roads and high ways.
