Finally Hyundai has launched their first SUV Creta in the market. Unlike more compact SUVs like the Ford EcoSport, the Hyundai looks and feels half a size bigger.
The Creta, is available with three engine options the 1.6L Gamma Dual VTVT petrol engine and two diesel engines, the U2 1.4 CRDI and the U2 1.6 VGT CRDI engines just like the Verna.
It really give competition in the SUV market to REanult Duster, Ford Eco Sport And Nissan terrano. The bonnet of the car is long than other SUV. It looks attractive from both front and back side. There is some initial turbo lag and the engine hits its best only after 1, 900rpm.
The Creta also comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox, a segment first. Hyundai India claims it is the first vehicle OEM in India to offer a 3-year, unlimited kilometres warranty on the Creta SUV which delivers an #ARAI-certified 15.29kpl(petrol), 19.67kpl(1.6 MT petrol) and 17.01kpl(AT petrol). The 1.4-litre diesel delivers 21.38kpl.
