Hyundai’s Creta has been a runaway success for the Korean carmaker from the day it was introduced. And now, the SUV has completed one year in production. To celebrate, Hyundai Motor India Ltd(HMIL) has introduced three new variants into the portfolio namely: Anniversary Edition(SE), Executive Variant(E+) and a new mid-spec S+ diesel trim with an automatic transmission.

The Anniversary Edition is the one that has the most cosmetic changes among the lot. On the outside, it can be instantly recognised by dual-tone exteriors, blacked-out C-pillar, jet-inspired body graphics, silver-finish skid plates, 17-inch diamond cut alloys, shark-fin antenna and integrated spoiler. Step inside and you’re greeted by an all-black interior with contrasting red accents seen on the AC vents and seats. Coming to the features, the dashboard is dominated by the seven-inch AVN touchscreen with the leather-wrapped steering wheel housing controls for audio and telephony functions.

The next variant that is added to the Creta range is the E+. This trim is introduced just ahead of the base E trim. It will only come with the 1.6-litre petrol unit mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Features such as a 5.0-inch touchscreen audio system with tweeters, multifunction steering wheel, powered side mirrors with LED turn indicators and rear AC vents are equipped to raise the value-for-money proposition.

In a move that is sure to bring the diesel automatic variant of the Creta closer to prospective consumers, a new S+ variant is now available apart from the already existing top-end SX+. Power output remains the same with the 1.6-litre diesel churning out 126bhp and 260Nm of peak torque.

So, if any of these variants appeal to you, here are the prices. And, you might want to consider the new Earth Brown colour that’s added to the palette of all versions in the lineup.

The prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Hyundai Creta E+ MT(1.6 VTVT) - Rs 9, 99, 900

Hyundai Creta S+ AT(1.6 CRDi) - Rs 13, 58, 697

Hyundai Creta SX+ Anniversary Edition(1.6 VTVT) - Rs 12, 23, 851

Hyundai Creta SX+ Anniversary Edition(1.6 CRDi) - Rs 13, 76, 699
