My father owns an I10. This car was purchased brand new precisely one year earlier. I took this car for 3rd free service to MGF Hyundai on 21st December 2011. I got a little late in leaving the house and reached service center at 2:00 PM. Now I've had a bad experience at another service center two three years earlier, where they refused to take the car in for service and asked me to come the next day. However I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted promptly and warmly upon my arrival.


The service ad-visor Mr. Pramod was very quick and courteous. He inquired in detail if I am having any particular issues with the car. Once I explained the issue he noted it in the job card and my car was taken in for service immediately. I waited in nice customer waiting room equipped with magazines, A/C heater & TV. I was updated twice by Mr. Pramod about the service status without even me asking for it. I was Told that service and repair is over and car is in queue for washing. This is about an hour and 15 mins later.


Now this is very fast as compared to other service centers where getting car serviced is a full day affair. Suddenly I received a call from home and I was asked to come home immediately. I told Mr. Pramod that there is an emergency and I have to leave immediately. The folks immediately took out my car from washing queue and got the final bill / gate pass prepared very quickly without me needing to run around for it. I was also given a coupon for a complementary car wash which was due. The best part was, when I was driving out of main gate, I was stopped by Mr. Pramod and he told me to drive slowly and carefully. Now tell me who thinks so much???... Overall great experience. I returned a couple of days later and got my car washed.


The overall point is, I've seen a number of times that we the customers purchase cars with our hard earned money and are then given indifferent treatment by service center folks. This was a very refreshing experience and a rare occasion where I felt valued for purchasing the product.


Keep it up MGF Hyundai Rama Road and hats off to its service advisers.
