I walked in the showroom, and asked for Getz 1.1, I got a test drive and made a decision to buy it. I wanted to present it to my Dad for his birthday and as he is stationed in Gujarat. I wanted the car with number plate. So was concerned about the delivery schedule. And only after a commitment I was ready to buy. I was offered
accessories worth Rs.8000 free.
According I made the payment for the booking amount and applied for Loan. Believe me it was me who was calling every time so confirm my delivery dates, and was always assured every time. The loan was sanctioned and I was asked to make the remaining payment, accordingly I talked to the sales man and he asked me to make the balance amount by cash, or the delivery will be late by a day. So I immediately made the cash payment.
On the day of delivery I called up and was asked to be at the showroom at around 3, I reached as per the schedule time and was given the Manual, sweet box and other stuff. Then I enquired what the Registration number was, I was told they have not received the numbers today and it was Friday. And on Saturdays RTO does not take registration. Then it was time to pay for the accessories, I handed over the credit card and found that the Rs.8000/- was not discounted.
Things that I hate the most –
Why was I committed such false thing ?
I was told it was the fault of the RTO (Trying to fool me)?
Why was the discount not given?
I was never told about the i10 launch?
For the refund of Rs.8000/- I had to follow up for a month and was asked to provide my identity and visit my self. Oh I for got to tell you about the delivery, the car was not washed, nor dusted, the watch men dusted the bonnet and put on the garland and I simply drove it out. That day I wished I had never bought and Hyundai car.
