Hyundai Accent Good Value for Hard earned money. Review on Hyundai Accent

Hyundai Accent GLS(BLACK)

Really a wonderful overall satisfying experience.

I upgraded this car to replace my 800 I also own a zen.

I will tell you the differences you will notice in this car

even if u get in with ur eyes shut.(This is my first midsizer)

Inside Atmosphere

+ve

1.The thud of door sound is solid better than all marutis on

earth but not as good  as palios.

2.immediatly after sitting inside you can feel the silence.

very less noise inside the cabin very well done.

3.The headlight swithches are butter smoooth, I felt I have

to go to jim to operate my zens switches.

4.Good trim levels mine is a GLS, I got all 4 power windows,

cig lighter, clock, Tilt steering, hight adjustable driver

seat, power antena.

5.AC is very silent no blower noise at all and it cools you

at even the 1st point(Excellent).

6.Good illumination of the dashboard speedometer. as

compared to ikon nd esteems.

1. Rear seat hard to ingress and outgress by older people.

3. Dashboard looks good but very little space for storage.

   
   




4. Little engine noise very less than marutis but not as

   
   

smooth as Verna.

Engine

1. Smooth good decent power delivery(not as aggressive as

ikons).

2.Feels like a rocket when u reach 3000 Rpm in 3rd gear

specially.(Honda city and palio owners forgive me).

3.i liked it better than the esteem in drivability dont  know

why. it has a good push power feel(torgue) which I never

got from   an esteem.

4.Mileage around 9 to 9.5 city with AC heavy traffic.can

squeeze around 10.5.

1.If my engine was as good as palio or honda  why would they

sell?

2.if it was as aggresive as ikon why would people buy ikons.

3.cant win with palio 1.6.honda 1.4 .ikon 1.6

Suspension/handling

1. people say handling of this car is bad. but I say I am

not racing its very good and soft in the road.its a

passenger car not a race car.

2.i felt ikons suspension was too hard and bumps were more

evident.

1. Bridgestone tyres 175/70 r13 standard and does well.

Maintainence

-

1. As cheaper to maintain an esteem.

I got this car in seconds for a very good price.so I aint  complaining.

But people over there going to buy a new one please try out

the Verna - its better in all the aspects than the Accent.

I feel this car is a very good 2nd hand buy.It has a good executive image, the car is far better looking than Logan.

The trim levels and quality are better than ikons.It really feels like a bigger car.
