You don't have to take my opinion, just rely on the opinion about the CRDi engine by automags. Just to give you a heads up, the VIVA CRDi is the same engine thats available in the Accent CRDi.
The best part about this engine is the undying power and spirit that it has. Mind you, its mind blowing. This is from a guy who has a M Lancer in the family. The average that it returns is as good as it can get in the market. Imagine a diesel engine giving 15+kmpl. Yup, my car does just that !! The power delivery is awesome. Oh yea, and you do get 2 gear wheel spins !!! Recently, I loaded up the car with 7 adults and with the A/C on (since I had to use the defroster coz of the rain), it pulled like there was no one in the car.
I strongly recommend this car to you guys. The cons with this car are few. One is that Hyundai doesn't give any extra accessories with the car. Secondly,the NVH is a little bit more than you would like it to be.
With fuel prices sky rocketing, this is your best choice.
