This is an absolute stunner, Great looks, Amazing Performance. Lowest Maintenance.
I have been using this car for the past six years and have driven 1, 50, 000 Kms and still the engine is in amazing condition, Still The maintenance is done only in intervals of 10000 Kms, A/C best in class. Even in city Heat.
This thing cools very faster than other cars, My dad Has a Marithi Swift, It’s a whole dumper, It clatters after Just 30000 Kms of Run, Shakes a lot. But this Hyundai accent is a topper for comfort offers a cushion like drive. Even after 150000 Kms running, The Engine is in top notch condition, It is still doing 175 KMPH on highways without any issue, I drive a lot from Tuticorin to Chennai, Even at Speeds Higher than 140 KMPH, this devil given an stunning mileage of 18 KMPL which is very good for a Sedan and that tooo at this speeds.
And yeah, The braking, My CRDI is a version without ABS, believe me, The brakes are better than the Brakes in Swift, Even at 140 Kmph, The brakes can stop the car within 80 Feet, That is Excellent I would say. As the Ride level is Very Low (As it seems to be), The drivability on Highways at speeds above 100 is a breeze. This Road Rocket Goes to 120 KMPH speed at just 3000 Rpm with is great becoz you will not feel the engine sounds or vibration and I believe that’s why this is best suited for Highways where you can cruise above 100 KMPH.
Mileage with A/C is above 17 KMPL on Highway (Above 100 KMPH) so no worry, ever. Inside the City its 16 KMPL with A/C, ofcourse. Never remembered turning OFF the A/C…
About Maintenance, Tyres needs to Be replaced once 55, 000 Kms. All other expenses seems to be bare minimum When compared to my Cousin’s Ford Fiesta Diesel…
The Worst Part is the Resale value, I can see CRDI cars for 2, 50, 000 Rs or less, Man I would say If you can find a well maintained Accent CRDI, go for it. One of my friend has accent CRDI in Which he has crossed 3, 25, 000 Kms with One Engine Overhaul, Which Costed about 150000, But This thing is a good bet as he has Taken almost 3 Cars life time in One Accent CRDI – What more can describe a Car more than this –
P.S – He still drives at speeds 80 to 120. Can you find any other car that can do this?
