BI-Fuel Sedan

There are lot of cars which run on bio fuel, like bio diesel, and Bi fuel cars ,which can run on any two fuels , gas Fitted cars which can run both on Petrol and LPG / CNG , But have never seen or tested any thing like a Bi fuel Ghost Car Form Hyundai Stable . Which can run both on Petrol and Diesel and gives the same mileage and same top Speed or to say, without drop in performance.

That’s what none of the dumbest fool on earth will try to do after buying a car worth 8 laks and put petrol to run it.

No more blames this time , as I was at the steering , by accident or a mistake I pulled into a BP petrol pump with almost empty tank , I said diesel and didn’t pay much attention . And ended up with petrol instead of diesel, worst is I did not know it till I saw the bill next day morn …

I rode the car with petrol for around 190 kms , and at speeds touching 130 . Though I had butterflies eating my intestine by the time I came to know that I was driving on petrol last night,

Immediately I had the 60 K service done and flushed the engine, so I guess the car is back in shape.

I don’t agree with people saying they get 15 to 17 in city (that too in Bangalore ) My average in City is 10 or 11 at max , I don’t stop the engine in the signal and the manual says every three min of idling the CRDI looses 1 km mileage per liter . But on high way the mileage is never less than 18 and some times turns up 20 if you don’t push it above 100.

Well I had to change the first set of tires around 50 k , May be its normal , but the worst thing the Koreans did with this car was the Seating , the seating of the accent is pathetic , hard and not up to the mark , and the rear leg room is always a complaint from my mom ,

If you come to the Dash, any lame man can tell it’s the worst design any one could have done, the dash drools kind of a slope, so you can not place a single thing on it, and not many facilities to store your fuels bills or other regular stuff. Some feel it’s girt , but having driven a rover Montego for 6 years, I guess I have right to complain,

Another down side is, I personally feel the showroom guys, who service the car are not efficient enough, they made me change a couple of parts before I realized that what I need was a new set of tires (to stop the steer wobbling)

Latest they said I need to change the alternator cause the ignition light was on when the car was running , and it is not continuous Price they quoted was 24K, took it to TVS and the guy there did some adjustment (god knows what ) and now its normal .

Should have give another set of small speakers in the front, apart from the four company gives. I have done 62K and hope it runs for another 60 with out any major hitch.
