This is Krishna Mohan. This month end I travelled from Bangalore to Hyderabad on bike. It's my dream and ambition to travel long distances on bike.
*Precautions:
*1. Make sure that ur bike is in good condtion.
If it is travelled more than 1000kms since last service, go for change of Engine oil and Do services.
Check tyre pressure correctly. Front tyre: 25psi and Rear Tyre: 38psi for all Bikes. (With Pillian Rider also).
Don't fill the pertol before day of journey.
Fill petrol in Good maintained pumps (Bharat petrolium - Speed or Indian Oil - Xtra Premium).
I suggest Indian Oil Xtra - Premium for long drives.
7.Keep an empty bottle for future use. ( To fill petrol).
8.Stop ur bike for every 60-75 kms journey.
9.If possible try to drive your self, don't handover ur bike to Pillian rider.
10.Last thing is Breaks should be perfect - and always ride bike in 50-60 kmph during long journey.
(In extream can reach 70kmph).
My Halts: ( I started in the morning 0500 at Bangalore)This time includes stopping and taking photos of places etc.
