I was swept away by the kind of discount they were offering at Snapdeal. I bought the coupon & ordered diapers for my daughter, first delivery was swift in 3 days and I was all praises for the site.
Their coupon reappeared on Snapdeal again & I was delighted to see that. I was in urgent need for feeding bottles as old bottles were proving small. My ordeal started here - I ordered 3 bottles on 26th March(coupon was accepted & discount was shown on their site)(Order no - 120326-233037-8859)
I paid through HDFC Netbanking & to my horror - their site snapped midway - & my order was shown as pending order(payment pending). All of the money was deducted from my bank account. I waited for 2-3 days to see if there is any refund or any order update on hushbabies. Nothing happened on its own. My bank confirmed that payment has been made. I contacted hushbabies - they said they would reconcile & will update the status. 2-3 days again - no status update. I wrote to them on their support email id - no response. Called them - I was assured but nothing happened. Called them 4 times in next 4 days(basically a call every day). Finally they recognized that they have received the payment.
On 4th April - I received a mail that my order has been shipped. I felt relived - alas it was all short lived. They made only partial shipment of 1 bottle. I received 1 bottle on 6th April. I called again asking about remaining shipment - a not so pleasant fellow answered my call - said it's not in stock. I was aghast - you should put that up in your site if that's not in stock. Then he said - ok you will receive that in next 3-4 days. I was totally shocked at the unprofessional way hushbabies is getting run. Nobody knows anything there. I was never conveyed that my shipment will be late or anything.(and the bottle I ordered is not shown as out of stock on the site)
Today after 18th day of placing my order and after writing unlimited no. of mails and unlimited no. of calls(and buying 1 of those bottles from market) - I have kind of lost hope. It's a wastage of time to fight for 300-400 rs thing, but then one feels bad for the hard-earned money. Review is just to enlighten the public to please stay away from this site. Even if you are lured by their snapdeal coupons etc - don't order anything urgent.
