Mistake i did should be avoided by all. Review on Hushbabies

I wanted to gift a school bag worth 1095 to my niece and my search ended with hushbabies. I was unsure if my sister gets at home or not due to job so I confirmed hushbabies if I can change the address after confirming with my sister as she was driving. I was assured of changed address will be accepted before order is processed.

I made payment only after assurance. within next 2 minutes I got a call from my sis and next second I emailed and made a phone call to hushbabies to send that bag to my sisters address. That would be utmost 5 minutes of order placement. here's proof 120319-204329-1248 is my order detail where 1st figures are date, wnd is time and 3rd is order number. at 20:43 I processed an order and called hushbabies after some waiting and talks I was assured of changed address will be accepted. at 20:53 I made payment and at Mon, Mar 19, 2012 at 8:57 PM I made an email my gmail record says.

Next day I get an email after midnight that my item has been shipped to my address and not sisters 1000 km away. to my surprise all promises and assurance I got turned out as lie. I emailed them again for knowing whats all this.

All of a sudden I get 3 emails from them next day to a reply for email of changed address request made at 20:57 on day of order, 3 days after I made my email. 1st email said they are looking into request of changing the address which was reply to my email I sent 3 days ago. in not less than 5 minutes I get another email that ignore earlier email as order is already shipped at wrong address and worst thing was they didn’t even say sorry. within next 5 minutes I get 1 more email saying to ignore earlier email and they’ll ship to desired address however item was shipped 2 days ago donno how they would change the address in transit shipment.

on 23rd I get item at my address. I call them and ask why did they assured on 1st place. I was told sorry with every sentence as if sorry will change things. it is of no use to me so I ask them to take back. I get an email next day to give them a chance and they will reverse pickup and send to address I was told will be shipped but not. that was friday the 23rd if I confirm. I emailed them back in reply to the same in agreement of return pickup and new delivery at sisters address.

For 3 days no one came to take item back and when no one picked my call at 44660011 and when I started to get sure that it was just a false offer from them I called back on toll free number. Suddenly I found the phone I was calling is out of service, toll free was also not available in between only for me and on top of it, height of speaking lies they never received any email from me. I was again promised to send a mail and I did side by side on call to them. now I've been promised of reverse pickup tomorrow however i'm pretty sure that they are just buying time.

That's just not all. my 1st order took 21 days. 2nd order is still not shipped fully and 28 days have gone they are telling item is out of stock however same item is available at their site. 3rd order is above written experience.

I've used firstcry, healthkart and babyoye and I found hushbabies is worst and gives sub-standard services and like many online vendors they also keep giving false promises and keep saying lies. beware from bunch of liars. bunch of liars who promise anything to get orders and will keep making excuses and tell you lies even so much that all of a sudden emails start getting eloped! beware. never use them.
