The author Amitav Ghosh has gives his best of all times mostly recognized by the fame of glass palace which inturn should be renamed with this one. The sunderbans come alive though our lives are none the less difficult from sundarbans (we all go to offices and come back to home like the fear from tides in the night and again this vicious cycle goes on) but the heart-touching and lively description is too good. To the best of my knowledge I regard this as to one of the best fiction.
On every turn in the story with every chapter the persons respond as expected yet it was unpredictable. It showed every color right from begining where the child was earlier sent for punishment to a person who gave his life as he loved a forgiener. I would not like to reveal the whole plot but I would like to recommend this book to all.
