Hungama- Laugh unlimited. Review on Hungama - Bollywood

''Hungama'' Produced by Venus and Directed by Priyadarshan is a laugh riot due to the confusions created by the characters which brings laughter to Hindi film Audience after the Scary episodes in the recent times.

The Plot

The film is the remake of director's first Malayalam film ''Poochakkoru Mookuthy'' which was a run away hit. Hungama story is full of comic situations that leads to confusions between characters in the film.

The Cast

Paresh Rawal is the scene stealer as Radhye Shyaam Tiwari with his Bihari style

Akshaye & Aftab also equally impresses with their comic timing

Reema is the Surprise package of the film, emotes well in her debut.

Shoma Anand, Shakti Kapoor, Tikku, Rajpal yadav are also impressive

The Crew

Priyadarshan has written the script which has lot of illogic situations & incidents but The witty Dialogues by Neeraj Vohra covers up all the flaws in the script

Thiru's cinematography is pleasing although not upto Priyadarshan's earlier works.

Editing is safe in the hands of Gopalkrishnan

Sabu cyril's excellent art work is visible in each & every frame.

Nadeem- Shravan's Music is hummable with good lyrics by Sameer.

The Director

Priyadarshan who is better known for his trademark comedy films in Malayalam has attempted a full length comedy film in Hindi. his earlier work ''Hera Pheri'' was a hit. He has shown that situational comedy with the help of funny dialogues can make people laugh than attempting to make people laugh by slapstick comedy & buffoonery witnessed in recent films like ''Ek aur EK Gyaarah''.

Overall

Hungama is a must see movie for all those who loved watching oldies like ''Golmaal'' & ''Ankur''. Although the films lacks logic and is no where near these classics, It succeeds in making people laugh throughout especially in the second half. In nutshell The Comic timing & performances from lead cast, witty Dialogues from Neeraj Vohra & the direction by Priyadarshan makes Hungama a Complete entertainer.
