I watched Hungama and it was major fun. My review could be biased by the fact that I watched ''Main Prem Ki Diwanee'' a day before and I think the movie sucked big time so I was ready to give any Hindi movie a shot to replace my disappointment. A friend recommended Hungama after I whined forever on how I couldn't get past the first half an hour of MPKD and I am happy that I watched Hungama.
The movie is a nice, refreshing comedy. The dialogues are very natural, and in Hindi not Hinglish. The actors act with ease and even the supporting actors are great. It wasn't like I was watching Akshaye Khanna the actor but more like Jeetu the videocon guy (the character he plays). The soundtrack is good, not outstanding by any means but pretty enjoyable . I was humming 'pari pari' song later on.
The comedy is really good, and Paresh Rawal is hilarious. Of course there are some poor jokes (but just a few). And like any Hindi movie there are some glitches, but overall it's a great movie to watch with friends or/ and family. There were moments when I was rolling on the floor, choking with laughter, but then again I watched the movie with friends and laughter is infectious so when one laughed all of us laughed even more. Anyway I absolutely recommend this movie. So go ahead sit back, relax, watch it and Enjoy!!.
