A great example of Persian architect, Emperor Humayun's tomb is an eye catching place situated near to Nizamuddhin Darga on Mathura road in Delhi.
A beautiful place to visit if you are here in Delhi as tourist. Entry fees Rs. 30 per head for an Indian and Rs.500 if you are a foreigner.
Transport connectivity is good as well as you can travel down here via metro(nearest stat. is JNL stadium) and from there you can take an auto to reach at the tomb.
Tomb is well build from inside with garden and fountain at the center certainly making it appealing for the tourists who visit there.
India Gate, Ashokan rock, Nizamuddhin darga are some of the nearby attractions.
Le merdian and The lodhi Hotel and resort are the two nearby places to stay and the safety issues are not matter of concern as the place is under high security.
Crowd that arrives there is bit average and this is the only negative aspect that I felt personally.
