I remember while growing up, I copied Sweety and danced in front of the door whenever the bell rang. I practically lived my life like her for a couple of years. That was the impact of this serial on our Country.
Hum Paanch was a sitcom made by Balaji Telefilms around 1995.Anand Mathur and his crazy daughters and 2 wives(one dead) made quite a riot.
Kajal bhai, Radhika, Sweety, Minakshi and Chotti always came up with the funniest and quirkiest ideas to deal with a situation and generated a lot of humor.
Not a single double meaning joke was used in this series that ran for 4 years and then again in 2005. Pure comedy and innocent gestures made this a huge hit amongst Indian viewers in the 1990's.
