A six-finger wonder. Review on Hrithik Roshan

Oh I really hate him. There not too many actors who bring out the worst in me save this six-finger robot-animal-human-nonactor.

There was a time when his Kaho Na Pyaar Hai released and took the entire nation and all its misses by storm. But it had me scratching my head in shock and awe (attaboy Dubayaman). What was it in him that attracted the crowds? What had actually made him the poster boy of an entire nation? Kaho Na was declared to be one of the biggest grosser of all time and Hritik it seemed had arrived.

And then the time to say goodbye came. Or almost. With movies like Aap Mujhe Achche lagne Lage, Fiza, Main Prem Ki Deewanee Hoon and ahem ahem ?. Yaadein that nightmare.

Luckily dad Roshan came to the rescue once again. He made Koi Mil Gaya and instructed junior to act normally ? be a retard. And the film clicked once again and Hritik with a bit of PRgiri became the darling of the masses and classes all over again. Almost!

And then came Farhan Akhtar?s Lakshya. Touted as the movie of the year, it sank without a trace at the box office. Now we hear that Hritik is back with papa Roshan. So it is back to papaiscs.

Reasons why I hate Hritik Roshan:

? He is a bad actor. Period. The only movie where he was ok was Koi Mil Gaya was simply because he acted himself.

? He is an overhyped star. The Roshans know the art of publicity. They have constantly tried to hype Hritik way beyond his actual capabilities.

? His dancing hi pathetic. He has simply improvised the pelvic thrusts immortalized by Mithun and Govinda. See his rubber dancing carefully to understand my words.

? He has six fingers. Now that?s being cruel. But that?s me. Inspired by Stardust.
