10th Board Examination or matriculation is one of the most important exams in a student's life. A student's academic career is highly dependent on 10th board exam result. Its result or percentage of marks determines whether a student will qualify or not for admission into a better college for hihger studies. So each and every students should try their best to secure a very good percentage of marks in this examination. There is no shortcut to success other than doing some hard work. Below I want to give a few tips to the students to encourage them for their better preparation.

1. Give more time to studies only. Never spend much time doing things other than studying. The more you read, the more you learn. Avoid playing games on smartphone, watching videos and never browse social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. Use mobile and internet only when it's required to learn something online.

   
   




2. Always read your notes and solutions which are given by your teachers at school and never forget to prepare your notes separately after comimg to home from school. Making notes on all subject is the best way to prepare for your exam. Notes made on different subjects will help you on revising your studies.

   
   




3. If necessary, one can susbcribe for an online course. There are many genuine online learning platforms available. Some best known learning apps or sites are Unacademy, Vedantu, Biju's etc. Many students have been greatly benefitted by learning on such platforms.

   
   




4. Always make a time table which suits you the best and study accordingly. Always follow your routine or time table as much as you can. Making a time table for your study is a good strategy for preparation.

   
   




5. Always practice to write long answers for essay type questions because proper practice will enhance your essay writing skill a lot. Also try to solve different maths or science problems with your own trial. self-study is always better.

   
   




6. Try to solve previous examination papers from the last 2-3 years. It will help you in understanding a concept about the different question patterns and marking systems. You can also practice for a mock test within a stipulated time using those old papers.
