I bought three items from Housefull's Viviana Mall(Thane) location on June 6. The sales person at the store told me delivery will get done in 7-8 days, and confidently assured me I would definitely get delivery latest by June 15.
After I paid and got the receipt, I saw that he had put June 17 as the committed delivery date on the invoice. So this was lie #1. I should have immediately asked him to cancel the order and refund the money because he lied to my face about the assured delivery date, told me it would be June 15, then printed June 17.
But that is just the start of the lies I have got from Housefull, which seems to be a company staffed entirely by pathological liars.
Then, the delivery did not even happen on June 17. That would be far too professional for this scumbag organization. The warehouse person called me on June 18(1 day after committed delivery) to tell me that delivery would be further delayed until 22nd or 25th. I complained, and insisted that they delivery next day. Finally, they managed to give the delivery on 18th, 7 days after the original promised date of 12th.
When I was arranging the delivery on 18th, I asked them to confirm that they would send the carpenter to assemble the furniture as soon as possible. They promised me the carpenter would reach my place on the 19th.
Obviously, the carpenter did not show up on the 19th(you should see by now that anything Housefull says is a lie). When I called to ask why the carpenter had not come, they pretended that they had no idea what I was talking about. Even though they had promised me just 1 day earlier that the carpenter would come on the 19th, they were now acting like they had never said any such thing.
Finally, the carpenter came on the 20th. When he came, he discovered that one of the boxes had not been delivered. There was a "Prime Storage Cabinet" product for which they had only sent 1 of the 2 required boxes. The carpenter assembled the other items and left.
On the 20th, I called the call center to ask about the missing box. The person at the call center said she would call me back in half an hour to confirm. She never called back.
On the 21st, I again called the call center to ask about the missing box. The person told me it would get delivered in 2 days. I said this was unacceptable, as they had screwed up the delivery and they should be working to ensure delivery of the missing box takes place asap. She put me on hold to check, then disappeared. I was on hold for literally 30 minutes, and then the line got disconnected. They wasted half an hour of my time because they were not willing to make the slightest effort to ensure customer satisfaction.
I called again just now and asked to speak to the manager. The manager had gone on lunch break. Previous times when I called, the manager was in a meeting, or he was out of office. I am sure that next time I call he will be gone for a smoke break or a tea break. Apparently, the manager is never available to deal with customers, and spends all his day on break.Never, ever, ever under any circumstance spend a single rupee with this garbage, fraudulent company.
