After several attempts I got through the call waiting in their customer care number.
Where after talking to them I was informed that the product was out of stock.
If it was out of stock how was the sale made?
When I tried to ask them about the same they said that it happens a lot of times that a particular product is sold and money is kept in reserve for a long time and then refunded after deducting a cancellation charge.
It is not me who cancelled, but they did not have the product so how can they charge cancellation charge? It should be the customer who needs to be compensated for their bad.
