Excellent Hotel. Review on Hotel Yavachi, Gangtok

Last week I went to Gangtok for North Sikkim Trip. We stayed at Hotel Yavachi for 2 days- 1st Oct and 4th Oct 2015.

Hotel Yavachi is located at around 10 mins walking distance from the famous MG Marg in Gangtok.We took mountain view room and opted for room plus breakfast facility.

The hotel is on the higher side of hill and from our room we got an excellent view of the beautiful Kanchenjunga peak covered with glaciers on 5th Oct morning. I was perplexed with the undefined scenic beauty.

The hotel room is very neat and clean. The bed size was big and very comfortable for two. They provided blankets also which was very soft and cozy.

The washroom had geyser facility and was also clean and tidy.  They provided soap towel and other basic amenities too. The room quality was upto the mark. The big lcd TV in our room added to the amusement.

The staff is cordial and cooperative.  Yavachi also had wifi facility available though the signal strength was average. We ordered dinner from Hotel itself. The food was good to taste. The quantity and quality of food was noteworthy. We ordered chilli potato for snacks in the eve. it was served hot and spicy. a plate full of chilli potatoes  at around Rs100/- was provided. It was very tasty. I loved it. For dinner it was dal tadka, tawa roti, jeera rice and matar paneer. Food was well prepared. The total dinner cost around Rs  600/-.

for breakfast they served aloo paratha with curd and pickle, , bread jam and butter, coffer or tea and fruit juice.

On 2nd Oct morn we asked the hotel staff to serve breakfast in our room and they did it well.

For two days hotel room plus breakfast cost was around 4k. .

I am very satisfied with the hotel facilities and services provided along with the excellent view available from room.
