We had traveled to Mangalore on a day visit as we wanted to attend a marriage near PVS Junction. We stayed overnight at Hotel Woodlands. At first glance, this looked like a very old place. Vehicle parking Options are good.
We booked two Double bed rooms(Non A/C) at a price of 970/- which was slightly overpriced looking at the standard of the rooms. The rooms we stayed were badly in need of maintenance. The Sheets were not cleaned. Rooms were untidy. Pillows were bit hard to sleep.
The Water Closet was renovated. They have hot water facilities starting from 5 am in the morning till 10am but not round the clock.
They have a nice South Indian restaurant which serves South Indian Dishes and North Indian cuisine only until 930 pm.
So overall, it was a OK experience
