First of all I thank MouthShut for listening to me and a quick response in adding Hotel Ramee International to your list.

If you are travelling to Mumbai from any other metro, they say ''Boss!! forget your house of 1500 Sqft, start enjoying the 10 X 10 in Mumbai''.

Mumbai is seriously expensive if it comes to a stay. A decent room at a decent hotel will cost you a sum of around 1500 - 1800 INR per day. You will not be getting sufficient facilities here and also the surroundings might not be good.

In such a scenario, one hotel stands tall to be appreciated. The hotel is Hotel Ramee International.

Run by the Ramee Group of Hotels - Dubai, this particular hotel is located just opposite to the Dadar T.T. railway station on the eastern side.

The Facilities

Rooms at Ramee are clean and tidy. You have fully carpeted rooms with AC, television, small fridge, locker, cabinets and the best part is really soft light for a perfect ambience. The curtains are a bit silky-satin, but they go perfectly with the ambience in the room.

A double bedroom at Ramee can cost you around Rs. 4000/- per day but the good thing is that depending on the duration of your stay, the charges will come down. The facilities provided at around Rs. 2200/- per day (Inclusive of 10% S.T.) are mind blowing. I am quoting this amount because this was the amount charged from us as it was an off-season.

You wake up fresh in the morning and you see the newspaper in your room. You quickly browse through the headlines, freshen up for the day and a solid and tasty complimentary breakfast is waiting for you. The breakfast is a buffet kind of thing and thus you have a lot of choices to make.

You start your day for the office and you have pickup and drop facility. Ramee has all kind of four wheelers ranging from Sumo, Qualis to Tata Indigo.

You come back in the evening, and a cool and decent swimming pool is waiting for you on rooftop. On one side you have a bar in case you choose to relax a bit more.

If you are not feeling fully fresh even after a dive at the swimming pool, you have a refreshing Sauna in your room. Ramee has beautifully designed bathrooms with all the facilities you require - Bathtub, Sauna, Telephone.

Now after relaxing, you require some entertainment. The television sets at Ramee are huge and flat. They offer you the best of entertainment.

You decide for dinner and a multi-cuisine restaurant is waiting for you on the ground floor. The food here is really good. There are a lot of options to eat

After filling up your tummy, yo decide to take a walk outside. Ramee is located at the best place in Mumbai - Dadar. It is in the center of the city or rather say very close to the center of the city, Sion being the center. You have good shopping complexes and Malls nearby in the form of Phoenix Mills, CrossRoads etc. If you want to keep it cheaper, you have Parel where there are a lot of factory outlets.

You come back, and a small but cool bar is waiting for you in your room. You hangup for the day and sleep.

Services

The staff at Ramee is well trained and courteous. They know there job nicely. Unlike many other good hotels where it is mandatory to give a handsome tip if you require the room keeper to do a job for you, Ramee's staff is different. You give the tip is your wish. They will keep you happy. They will even bring things from the market for you.

In order to stay at Ramee, you need to book it beforehand say around 2-3 days before. If it is an off season, you will get the room instantly. The booking can be done over phone, email and in person. Thus you have a lot of options with you.

I recommend this hotel to everyone who is travelling to Mumbai, is willing to spend a decent amount on accommodation and likes staying in good places. It is a perfect stay for couples.
