Located in Matunga, I sometimes specially travel to this place to sample their delicious food, all the way from the western suburbs. Believe me it is that heavenly! Strategically placed in Matunga, in a busy market place, you can always expect this place to be teeming with people and it might be tad too difficult to find a place here to sit.
If you are going alone or it is just the two of you, then you might get a place easily or might have to share a table with someone else. But this too is cool, when the food is that delicious and you are too hungry to wait:p. I start off with ordering their Lemon Juice which is very sweet but tastes like nectar! You can imagine the fight we have to put up to get a place here and hence makes you so thirsty:D.
Their Rasam Vada is definitely thought of by God himself coz it is just so heavenly! The thin delicious, hot and sour rasam, which has a nice big Medu Wada soaked in it is the most wonderful sight I have ever seen! This and their Sambar Wada, get a 10/10 from me!
I order their Masala Dosa and it can never go wrong. The bhaji inside is way too exquisite and no one can ever come close to making it the way they do. All this sure fills me up, but then I do keep some space for their unique Sheeras. They have various flavours like Chocolate, Pineapple, Jackfruit, Black currant etc. One good thing is, they keep experimenting with various flavours and they always are a hit with the patrons.
This seriously one place to go to before you die. Or do mention it in your bucket list:D
