I came to know of this hotel while crossing the Beltola road. Since I had work in the nearby area of the Last Gate Dispur area, I thought of trying out this hotel. So I booked through goibibo.com. Everything was fine the first time I went. We were given Welcome drinks, packet of biscuit, chips and a chocolate as complimentary. I was quite impressed with their service, but since I stayed only for a night, I couldn't use much of their services. Till date I have checked into this hotel numerous times and I will jot down the experience.
Next I went in this hotel after some months expecting the same service, but to my disappointment there was no Welcome drink this time and all the other times I checked-in with them in between intervals of a month or two. So I thought that they have stopped giving so, but then I saw photos of the drink posted in goibibo by new customers. And then I knew that old customers are not given the priviledge of the drink after the first visit. Anyway, this was not a big issue.
The Reception staffs are very well behaved and helpful. They do everything to make the customer feel good in the property. They even printed documents that I wanted and arranged an extra stay due to some problem caused while booking through goibibo.
The efficiency of Housekeeping staffs are inversely proportional to the efficiency of the Reception staffs. We had to repeatedly call them to ask for toiletries, maximum times they don't receive and we called the reception people to call them, other times they said ok and never brought the toileteries we asked for. Twice they even gave wet towels, we complained the first time and still they gave a wet towel the second time. On complaining again, they gave a vague reason stating it rained suddenly and so the towels got wet. Well, that wasn't even an excuse!
Room Service staffs are ok ok. Seemed they have a thing with the Housekeeping staffs, they were complaining to us. I don't know why that particular Room service guy was telling us, may be because we complained about them and he heard us.
The buffet breakfast are healthy and wide variety. It is a good spread. No complaints. With the complimentary breakfast, it is great.
But when ordered in room, we got different taste and different looks everytime we ordered the same item. That was a little let down.
- Location is superb. Easy access to the town, easily available transportation. Parking space is also good. Cleanliness is also appreciable.
Even after all these bad experiences in the hotel, we still have to stay here since it is near to the place we have work in. We still book through goibibo.
Overall I had both bad and good experience in the hotel, and I would have never gone back to the hotel but since the location is what I prefer, we still go there.
