We visited Coorg on June 20th, 2009 weekend. We stopped atHotel Rajdarshan for lunch. It was 2:30 PM in afternoon. They didn’t have anytable available. I waited for a table to get available for next 15 mins. Pleasenote that I was there with my old parents and 3 year old kid. I tried to getattention of waiters to ask for a table. But they would ignore as if you do notexists and keep doing their work.
Finally, I requested another family to share the table. They were 4 people ontable which can accommodate 10. They were accommodative and helpful. We sat onthat table and waited again for 10 mins to get the attention of waiters toorder food. They purposefully ignored me. Eventually, I blocked way of one ofthe waiter and asked him to please take order. He said he cannot, please talkto manager. I asked why. His response was we can’t club two orders from sametable. Fair enough. But can’t you tell me this 25 mins before? Can’t you helpme finding another table? Can’t you tell me in first place on how much time it wouldtake? It was 3:00 PM and we were hungry.
I asked for Manager. No one knew where he was. Final response was that manageris gone out for lunch. I was shocked. This is weekend lunch hours and you donot have a manager whom I can talk to. Irony is that manager also doesn’t likeeither food or services of restaurant. Finally, I left that place. We boughtsome bananas, biscuits and chips. We had good evening snacks at Kadkani riverresort later in the day.
I do not have feedback on their rooms and other guest services as I just triedto use restaurant. But looking at services there you can make out how theytreat customers.
