A must try for Pune travellers. Review on Hotel Park Ornate, Pune

For my weekend trip with family to Pune I was looking around for accomodation and someone suggested Park comf-e suits as it is locate in the area I was interested in . However, when I contacted them, they expressed their inability to arrange any nightstay arrangments for the driver but politely directed me to another hotel of the same management - Park Ornate.

The staff at Park Ornate proved to be very efficient and cooperative and within minutes I had a confirmation letter from them for my accomodation.

The reception at the hotel was warm and one could easily feel the efficiency of their staff. They gave us a nice room with all consumables, a refrigerator loaded with cold drinks etc, dvd player with list of available dvds along with the usual things. The room was clean and well maintained and housekeeping staff was very courteous and efficient. We went down for lunch to "The Tamarind" and were again surprised with the personalized attention as well as the quality of food.We had some starters, chinese main course and finished the meal with cream caramel. All the items were well prepared and served in the appropriate manner. We were told that for dinner we will have the option of a buffet as well as a-la-carte.

After we came back to hotel, finally something negative happened. The air conditioning broke down. But the staff again surprised us with their efficiency. Within minutes we were moved to another similar room without any fuss and their staff moved all the things even though they were unpacked.

The complimentary buffet breakfast was again sumptuous with plenty of choices and again served by smiling staff. They took special care of my younger son and made him happy.

The checkout was equally smooth and the duty officer accompanied us right upto the car. My whole family was really impressed with their service and management. And since we have had to chance to stay in many hotels, we unanimously rated it as one the best stays.

One more plus point is that they provide complimentary wi-fi service so you are always connected.

The only negative points I could feel are the lack of a bar/permit room and swimming pool. I was informed that they are trying to arrange for these facilities also.

Compliments to the management and the staff as they are the one who can turn a buildinig into a truly memorable experience.
